CMT offers a variety of Christian Ministry subjects that are open for enrolment all year-round, with immediate access worldwide. Delivered via flexible online format, each subject comes with a 6-month access period and includes a digital certificate of completion.

Course OutcomesWe hope that you feel really blessed by doing our Christian Ministry and Theology subjects. For some the subjects will provide an oppotunity to deepen their understanding of the Bible and Christian beliefs. Others may complete the training to be better prepared to function in a certain Church or other missions or ministry situations.
Generally speaking, the subjects and International Certificate is intended to prepare individuals to serve in a range of roles in churches or Christian organisations, however, work in sole roles may require commissioning from a specific religious institution. Before doing a Christian Ministry and Theology Course, you should check if it is the right thing for you. Maybe all you need is a clear sense that God is calling you to do it. Or maybe you need to talk to your Church leaders and check if it is going to give you what you need to work in your particular Church or ministry environment. |

Online Learning & Duration
All students who enrol in the subjects will need to complete their assessment online. Our online learning platform is accessible anytime, anywhere - with our distance education courses, you can access your course from anywhere in the world, at a time that suits you. This flexibility ensures that you can balance your studies with your other responsibilities and commitments. Students have up to 6 months to complete each subject. The amount of time that you need to put into completing the assessment for the Certificate IV will vary depending on factors such as your existing knowledge, and your past experience. Assessment Methods
The Christian Ministry and Theology subjects follow a competency based assessment approach with materials presented for each topic and 1-5 quizzes required to pass a subject. The quizzes contain multiple choice, matching and true or false questions. They require you to achieve a pass rate of 80% and can be attempted multiple times. International Certificate students must also participate in the following types of assessment:
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) If you have existing relevant qualifications or years of Christian Ministry and Theology leadership experience, you may be eligible for full or partial Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Partnership Churches
If you are enrolling via one of our partnership Churches, then there will be set dates and class session times that you will need to attend. This information will be communicated to you by your Church. All students need to submit their assessment via the online learning system. Your Trainer may allocate you some class time for the completion of assessments, but you will also need to set aside time to study outside of class hours. |
