Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)Should I start with the Cert IV or the Diploma?
Generally speaking, the Certificate IV course is intended to equip you to serve in a Christian Ministry setting and the Diploma course is intended to equip you to lead in a Christian Ministry setting.
The Certificate IV is open to anyone with a sound level of English ability and is a great starting point if you’re newer to ministry or formal study. Many students choose to begin with the Certificate IV and then continue into the Diploma, with direct credit being available between the course levels. The Diploma involves a higher level of academic rigour, including research-based assessments such as essays. It is best suited to those who already have ministry experience or have completed previous academic study. For full detailed information, please read the course overviews: What DENOMINATION is the course?
Our courses are delivered by a non-denominational, government-registered training organisation, which means your qualification is nationally recognised and can support further study or formal ministry opportunities. We hold to the core Christian belief that the Bible is God's word to humanity, that salvation is found through Jesus Christ alone, and that the Holy Spirit is actively at work in the life of every believer. The course content has been developed by seasoned Christian leaders who devoted their lives to ministry, with a passion to equip and encourage others in their calling. Throughout the course, you’ll be encouraged to reflect and draw on your own beliefs to explore different interpretations of Scripture, and consider how Biblical truths apply to real-life ministry and daily living.
