                                    Assessment

                                    The course is structured by a series of tasks that address the various aspects of each unit. These tasks will be completed and assessed as you progress through the course. Your trainer will give you guidance on how to complete the assessment tasks and also provide you with feedback on your assessment tasks throughout the course. 

                                    Forms of Assessment may include:
                                    Written Assignments involving:
                                    • Research eg from class notes, the Bible, books and the internet etc
                                    • Clearly presenting the information you obtain
                                    • Analyzing the information
                                    • Applying the information to Christian Life and Ministry 

                                     Written Exams:
                                    • Giving short answers of a sentence or one or more  paragraphs
                                    • Multiple choice – choosing appropriate responses from given options
                                    • Responding to a given scenario  
                                    • Recalling and presenting information in diagrammatic form
                                    • Discussing studies you have been undertaking
                                    • Reading Reflections or Summaries:
                                    • Providing the main points of a reading
                                    • Writing about how you might apply the reading
                                    • Comparing the reading with other information

                                    Oral Presentations:
                                    • Preaching throughout the year
                                    • Giving a presentation based on class studies or a given topic
                                    • Sharing research findings with a small group or to the class

                                    Debates or Discussions:
                                    • Participating in group discussions on a topic
                                    • Gathering evidence or information as a group to have a debate
                                    • Working with partners in class to complete a study

                                    Journals, Logs, or Notes:
                                    • Scripture Study notes 
                                    • Diary notes (e.g. of witnessing activities)
                                    • Notes taken in Church Meetings
                                    • Records of service in Church Activities
