The close of study date varies for each class location depending on the duration and intensity of the course. The close of study date is specified on the relevant class information page (i.e. the 4D Training page or the Spirit Led Academy page). If you are unsure of your close of study date, please contact us.

To apply for an extension you will need to complete the below Extension Application Form prior to your close of study date.

When CMT receives this electronic form, we will make an assessment of your extension request in consultation with your trainer, then you will be advised of what Extension Fee may apply and asked if you wish to proceed with the extension.

The Extension Fee will vary depending on the amount of outstanding assessment that you have to complete, the amount of time you have requested and if any previous extension has been given. As an example; if most Course Work is complete and just a unit or two needs completing in a short time frame and no previous extension has been given, then a minimum of fee of $250 may apply or may be waived. However, if very little or no Course work has been completed the maximum Extension Fee of up to $2,000 may apply (depending on circumstances). The Extension Fee may therefore vary from $250 to $2,000.

Please note: You can only apply for up to 6 months at a time. Multiple extension requests can be made, however the total maximum enrolment period for the Certificate IV or Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology is 2 years (24 months). i.e. a maximum of 24 months from when you started the course.
