»Because work involves doing something useful or helpful. It often involves application, discipline and skill and God given gifting. God calls us to be active and productive.
Complete training that will help equip you with skills for work. You will be able to use these skills in Christian ministry, or in paid employment, or both. They can give you credit into further studies, or lead you to studies in related fields.
As you complete your studies in this dimension you will be completing four Nationally Recognised Counseling Units from the Diploma of Community Services Work. They are:
CHCCSL501A - Work within a structured counselling framework
CHCCSL503A - Facilitate the counselling relationship
CHCCSL507A - Support clients in decision-making processes
CHCCSL509A - Reflect and improve upon counselling skills
You also have the option of completing a full Certificate IV in TESOL*
TESOL = Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
This qualification would equip you to work overseas, or to help migrants or visitors in Australia.
